Data Analytics (DA) and Personal Data Protection (PDP) Requirements

Digital solutions MUST comply with the DA and PDP requirements to be eligible for pre-approval under SMEs Go Digital programme.

Data Analytics: Digital solutions should come with one or more dashboards that provide an at-a-glance overview of charts/indicators with cross-filtering feature to help users analyse data and generate insights to make informed decisions.

Personal Data Protection: Digital solutions that collect, use, disclose, process or dispose personal data* should incorporate features that support the obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act (2020).

*Personal data refers to data about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which the organisation has or is likely to have access.

  1. You must complete the online form and submit all necessary supporting documents for validating of your digital solution's compliance with the DA and PDP requirements

  2. It may take up to four (4) weeks to review and validate your submission. Failure to submit the necessary supporting documents may lead to a delay in the review process. You will receive a notification on the validation outcome via email.

  3. You must attach the validation outcome as a supporting document in SGDPAS.
